RUDE MANAGEMENT.
There was a miscommunication over our order, to which most waiters and managers would graciously fix. There was only a $2 difference in price between what we thought we ordered and what we were billed for. Our waiter got rude when we asked about it... and management stood firm. We have been regular customers for YEARS. And it wasn't even about the measly $2... we were far more disappointed in how they handled it. Absolutely rude. Don't want to ever go back, which is a shame since Pelanchos has been a favorite of our family's for years. NOTE to all folks in management positions: Don't lose loyal customers over a few bucks! No, customers aren't always right... but it wouldn't kill ya to at least be gracious and kind.

Never Again!.
Took my 11 yr old son to this restaurant last year for Cinco De Mayo, as that is his birthday, and they were having some festivities. I asked the waiter what they could do to help celebrate his birthday, and was astounded to hear that "They were too busy to do anything". I'm sorry, when your 11 yrs old, birthdays are a BIG deal, and they wouldn't do anything. Food was so-so for Mexican, but we will never go back there. They are much too busy for our business.

Yum Yum.
Just moving from Central Texas, I live off of mexican food, but after a vist to El Charro - I soon knew I was going to have to change my weekly treat of tamales w/ Italian something. Pelanchos has saved the day!! We're not in Texas any more, but I can at least pretend when I come here.. Margaritas are really good. Fajitas, tamales, rice & beans.. I'll no longer be in withdraw for my favorite food. The atmosphere is just right - it reminds me of popular mexican spots in Austin... now, only if the wait staff spoke broken english, they expanded their tequila menu, and added more christmas decorations. :) I'm not making fun - it's a great place.
