No one would return phone calls. I agree with the first review that no one would return phone calls. I put in a claim in January and did not get anything resolved until March 9th. I called, left multiple messages, and sent multiple emails and no response. It was not until I got upset that anything materialized. This is my first claim with the company after being with them for four years. I have a policy in the Nashville area that was no problem. This office in Knoxville is very unorganized and have terrible customer service. I do not recommend using them if you intend to need to collect on a claim at some point.
Bad claim experience.
April 2011 had hail damage to our car and scheduled the appointment in June for the repair. The adjuster was suppose to have a rental car arranged (per policy coverage) prior to repair and we couldn't get a return phone call and had to drive over there and ask to see the adjuster in person. We were told the car was reserved and ready to be picked up, went to the rental car company and they didn't have anything on file. Had to pay out of pocket for whichever auto they had on the lot since reservation had not been made. Will try to get a reimbursement if we can get a return call to see how to file for it. :-(
I know all insurance companies have been covered up with claims, but I feel like the adjuster was very unprofessional plus failed to tell the truth (not using the proper word for it lia*)
Would not recommend policy with them at this time. Maybe rates are lower because service isn't as good as the "big guys".
Farm Bureau Auto Insurance. My husband has been using the same auto insurance company for years. He loves Farm Bureau. So far, I have found that they give better service and rates compared to the other major insurance companies. I just switched from Geico. Farm Bureau is saving me $200.00 per year, plus I have added protections.
