Rude and inconsiderate. Went to them several years ago. First visit waited for ever had never been to pain clinic. After 1 1/2 hours ask the receptionist where bathroom was. As I came back in the office from restroom a lady in a scrubs { hope she wasnt a nurse as to taint the profession with her actions} she was screaming my full name which is a HIPPA violation ( Privacy Law) I said sorry had to go the restroom. She yells really loud " You have to have a drug screen I dont know if the doctor will see you or not I"ll have to ask him" I said I didnt know that I ask the receptionist where the restroom was they didnt say I had to pee in a cup I have never been to a pain clinic no one said anything to me about that. So she has no reply and whirls around and goes back thru the door that she was holding open going to the examination area. It really pissed me off to be truthful about it. and I told the recep. person I dont care if the dr will see me or not I wouldnt subject myself to this abuse if this was the only pain clinic in knoxville you can tell them I wont be back. I then went to my regular MD who had sent me there and he agreed to continue to write my meds. He also says he never referred anyone there again. I hope not. It took about 2 or 3 years before I tried another clinic only because my MD sold his private practice to a huge corporate run Family Practice conglomerate and I had to go to a Pain Clinic. I should have sued them for a HIPPA violation for her yelling my name out and telling my business to anyone who could hear her inside and outside the office in such a rude manner. I wouldnt advise anyone to even try this place. I have heard other horror stories from people who have went here as well.
