Best cheap sushi in town. As is common with many area japanese steakhouses in town, Sakura has a sushi bar. As it is smaller and lesser known than others around, it does not get as much business but that is a good thing! If you want the hibachi show, they do not insist on a full table before they will start. They seem to have only one full-time sushi chef, but the owners/managers may hop in to help out when they get busy. Oh, and busy is when they have their specials. Such as ALL-You-Can-Eat sushi on Tuesday nights ($17.99, no sharing!). Another night (Monday?) is $2.00 rolls and $1.00 per nigiri. The sushi selection is not quite as extensive as some places, but nearly always it is excellent quality. Be prepared to wait a while for your sushi during one of those special nights. And watch out for the owner/manager's son who often roams the restaurant.
