Chocolate Lasagna?. Maybe I just can't get tomato sauce off my mind, but chocolate lasagna does not sound appetizing. It sure does taste good, though, and so does the key lime pie. Puleo's desserts are not the only reason to try this Italian-American restaurant, as apparently southern roots (ethnic, not tubers) influence a diverse and sometimes creative menu. Barely upscale, Puleo's is a better destination for a birthday or family gathering than a romantic dinner, and the service has always been friendly and relatively efficient. Recommended.

Southern-Italian cooking doesn't get any better.. Stone ground cheese grits... fried green tomatoes... Shrimp and Grits... these are a few of my favorite things. This is one of my favorite restaurants in the knoxville area. Granted, I'm fairly new here, but I've tried quite a few places now, and Puleos is a cut above. I've "NEVER" had poor service there, and the food has always been fresh and hot.

Great Menu!. Love the food, the menu and the service. It really don't matter what you're craving - this place has a diverse selection from Italian to Southern-style home cooking, and it's all delicious.
