Great Location for UT STUDENTS!!. This salon is awesome for UT Students! It is litterally only a 5 minute walk from every dorm, including Laurel. My first time there the girl working gave me a tour of the store. Since I had never tanned before I had no idea what to expect at a tanning salon! She was very knowledgeable and told me the facts about every bed and product i had questions about. Before purchasing a package I went to another salon to check out their prices! At the others salon you had to pay an acitivation fee and sign a contract but Hot Spot has no hidden fees! The salon is AWESOME and I would recomend it for all students.

Great location and great results. Over all, I enjoyed my experience. The salon was clean and most of the girls are really nice. I have been several times since the semester started and I have a wonderful tan. However, they are really good about helping out with why the negative press is simply not true. they taught me alot about the reasons we tan.

A Subpar tanning experience. I have tanned regularly for about four years now, and have been to quite a few different tanning salons, and this one might have been the worst. The service was not very accomodating, the girls would be on their phones or chit chating with each other, and not even care taht I was standing there way to be put in a bed. This leads me to the beds, they were horrible. No matter how much I tanned I could not achieve the color that I wanted, and I am an easy tanner, that can get very dark. I purchased a semester deal, which allowed me unlimited visits. I went constantly, but I never could reach a decnet level of tan. Hot Spot preys on students because its virtually on campus, and easy to access, but its a really unprofessional and poorly run tanning salon. I now go to tropic tans on the strip and I am much happier!
