I am a huge fan of the Chop Shop. I have been going to Cindy for several years and have referred all of my friends and family. Now several of my family and friends go as well. The cut is always great, and it continues to look good as it grows out....that is a great cut! Also, Cindy does an amazing job with color. Her staff is friendly and helpful, and I would recommend to anyone.

Just had a GREAT hair cut and color at the Chop Shop. Cindy Lou does fabulous work and the atmosphere is very fun. Andi gives a great massage with the shampoo. If you need a pick me up, just make an appointment with any of the great stylists/artists at the Chop Shop. Whether trendy, sassy or just plain gorgeous is how you roll - the Chop Shop has you covered.

Love that Haircut!!. I went in there feeling crummy and came out feeling amazing. Cindy Lou will make you love yourself and your hair. Very upbeat place to spend a little time.

Seriously I have hard hair to deal with, not very thick, actually little thin.

I run and do all sorts of stuff and have NO TIME to worry about my hair. With my new hair cut, I don't have to worry at all, just blow , go, and looking good!!

Love CindyLou and the gang at the Chop Shop!. I have been a customer of the Chop Shop since it's opening over a year ago. I enjoy my experience every time. Cindy Lou has a terrific personality that makes it an enjoyable and comfortable experience every time I come in. She has worked hard to make Chop Shop not your usual salon. I love the atmosphere from the motor cycle and musical decor, to the staff, and even the other patrons. The mood is such that everyone is comfortable talking to each other and makes for a good time when you are spending several hours getting services. I am always pleased with my cut and color (we have finally found the PERFECT shade) and my husband likes it too. Keep up the good work Cindy, Holly, Tim, Blythe, Lily and the front desk staff.

Chop Shop - the BEST!. I have NEVER been to a salon like this...unique, warm, cozy, ALWAYS friendly and courteous...from Jessica or Maria at the front desk to Lily that takes care of me before the "magic" is performed by the owner, Cindy Lou Douglas...everyone (Tim, Holly and Blythe) at this salon is professional, experienced, talented and gracious...I visit every week and look forward to my services...great products, terrific ideas and creations and the BEST color I've ever had...I would go no where else and now, my entire family gets their hair done at The Chop Shop...best in town!!!

Best Hair Cut I've Had in 10 years!. I just had one of the best haircuts of my life. Cindylou Douglas was such a great listener and totally innovative. She was able to visualize exactly what I wanted without much direction...I have a difficult time communicating what I want sometimes in a haircut, but she nailed it! I was also able to get my hair cut during my lunch break and was there just under an hour! So perfect. The staff were all extremely nice and attentive. I love Chop Shop! I have definitely found my hair salon here in Knoxville! Thanks Chop Shop, I feel beautiful!

Awesome Experience. I am extremely satisfied with The Chop Shop. I love everything about this place including the ambiance, the greeting that you receive when you walk in the front door and the quality service. I was so happy that I suggested to my husband that he try the chop shop as well. He has been to several places in Knoxville in the 5 years that we have lived here and has never been happy with any hair cut. I finally convinced him to try out The Chop Shop and he couldn't be any happier. Truly, the people who work here are fabulous.

Unprofessional and unqualified salon. Holly got dye on my face, almost all the way to my eyebrows, and no one at the salon could get it off. I ended up having to exfoliate the top layer of my skin off (now red and painful) and still couldn't get it all. She also dyed my hair black (instead of dark brown) and missed several sections in the back. When I called to get it fixed, Cindy insists my hair was already black, despite the fact that I still have brown hair in the back. Her only "solution" is to dye the rest of it black! She also told me she "can't afford" to lighten my hair back bc she "busts her ass" to pay her bills. I told her that was unprofessional and none of my business, and she hung up on me! Called the next day to ask for a refund, and she isn't returning my calls. When I did talk to her, she said she was sorry I had an "unprofessional" dye job, but she won't fix it, and I paid less since Holly is less qualified... but she assured me Holly could do it when I set the appt! So disappointed in their lack of skill and horrible customer service.

Great Salon Wonderful Service. Chop Shop salon is so uniquely creative and welcoming! I love the old time charm with modern touches. It is such a great place to relax and enjoy being pampered. The staff is so focused on the client. As always, Cindy has a rare gift to give a custom hair style that suits me perfect! I will be recommending to all my friends!
