Lived up to what others said.... which is not good. Since Latitude 35 opened I heard everyone say the same thing, "The service isn't that great and neither is the food." Three friends and I decided to give it a shot this weekend because the wait times at our other favorite market square spots were too long. The quick wait time should have been a sign right away. It took our server around 15 minutes to bring us four waters and a bottle of wine. Speaking of which the server had absolutely no basic wine knowledge much less knowledge of her employer's wine list. Once the food came I immediately sent back my "blackbean" burger due to the kitchen forgetting to add cheese which was simply a frozen boca-type patty with limp lettuce on a bun. Once it came back, they had simply thrown a slice of cold cheese onto my now cold entree which once again was sent back and brought to me luke warm. At that time I gave up. Two people in our party ordered pasta alfredo, one with salmon and one with chicken. Both dishes were extremely bland and the meat and fish lacked any seasoning. The fourth person in our group ordered grilled salmon which she said "wasn't horrible". I am a server myself here in Knoxville and know how tough working in a restaurant can be. But I definitely will NEVER go back to Latitude 35. I suggest LaCosta or Oodles to any market square goer.
