Great Mexican Food. This family owned and run restaurant has the BEST mexican food EVER! I have never had anything I did not like there. The prices are reasonable and the portions generous. You can't go wrong choosing Lorenzo's. It is worth the drive from Knoxville or Lenoir City to experience this casual, friendly dining experience.

Best Mexican Restaurant. IT is the best Mexican Restaurant i have ever tasted in my life. I think they are the same people that were in lenoir city that named polo's. Me a lot of friends eat thier 2 times a week for dinner. they have the best fajitas in tn and the have the biggest burrito i hve seen. they are simply the best you all should try it.

Worth the Drive. El Potrillo may be located way off in Tellico, near the old folks, but this is easily the best mexican restaurant I've ever had the pleasure to dine. My girlfriend and I will drive all the way from Oak Ridge or UTK just to eat there. Occasionally, we'll plan a day in Tellico for the sole purpose of dining at El Potrillo. The service is usually efficient and friendly, and the food is simply the best around. I'd recommend one of the burrito+taco combination lunches/dinners, which is easily enough to fill even the hungriest of patrons for less than $8. Be careful, though, as the salsa is probably the spiciest I've ever tasted at any restaurant.
