best deal ever – I'm a small business owner and I didn't have much time to shop or haggle over price. Reeder gave me the opportunity to do my purchase online. They gave me the best price and financing the first time! My paperwork and truck was waiting on me on the delivery date and I was in and out in no time at all. Best purchase experience ever. Way to go Reeder!!!
Worst Chevy Dealer in Knoxville – We purchased a 2008 Cobalt in February of 2009, it took them 6 months, if not longer to send the GM certification to HQ for the extended factory warranty. In additional to that, we've had to fight for almost every warranty repair that we've had to make and there have been quite a few.
Most recently we discovered that there was underbody structural damaged to the trunk pan. The car was in a rear end collision prior to us purchasing it, but according to the dealer it was "fixed". That was a complete lie. We confronted the dealership and they said it was "fresh" damaged even though I haven't hit a single thing since owning the vehicle. They were unwilling to work with us in attempting to fix the car, which I was unable to drive since according to the body shop and insurance it was unsafe to drive.
I filed several complaints about the dealership and the one from the BBB was the first to respond, the dealer completely lied in their response. I ending up getting the car fixed, but only after paying for it out of pocket. NEVER BUY A CAR FROM REEDER!
Body Shop – Staff was helpful and polite. They fixed my wife's car, but when they finished they realized the paint didn't exactly match (i didn't catch it). repainted it without charge. Took them 17 days to fix a headlight, fender and bumper. But it looks great. ALSO saved me $700 when they caught a mistake my insurance co. made on my pickup truck. Good guys. Good work. Be patient.
Horrible, horrible, horrible – I just want to pass along my experience with Reeder Chevrolet. We bought a used van from them 18 months ago and we have had problems ever since we bought it. First of all they made us promises for things they never followed through on. We were supposed to get a fold down seat and we had to waste many hours bothering them for it and have STILL never recieved it.
The latest is that we purchased an extended warranty and they do not want to honor it. We have had to contact an attorney, who says we would definetly have a case. Finally, after much grief and phone calls by us, they did replcae the problem.
But, I will never, ever deal with these people again. I will never recommend them to anyone either. I will do my best to tell everyone I can how horrible their customer service is and how they DO NOT follow through on their promises!!
