UT alums are clouded by their nostalgia

How shocked was I to see these great reviews

of Vick & Bill's. One thing the reviewers have in

common -- they are all clouded by their nostagia

for their college days at UT. The food is mediocre.

The sandwiches are steamed (a feature known only

to Knoxville deli's -- I think it's done to mask the

bad sub rolls, but all it does is make everything taste

like premasticated goo), and the staff is hostile. Maybe

you have to come in drunk after partying, or hungover

from the night before, but don't go out of your way

to eat at Vick & Bill's.

great breakfast

Vic & Bills has great breakfast. The Greek omlette is wonderful. The chopped steak special is a great value and great food. For lunch, the volburgers are huge.
