Disappointed. I as disappointed in Regas. I ordered a steak and potato. The steak was ordered medium-well and when I received it more like medium rare. I asked for it to be re-fired and it came back with the same inside and super charred outside. I wasn't able to eat it at all. The decor is super old and could use an update even though I love old buildings and designs of the 1900s this could use a little remake. I was disappointed in the food. My in-laws had seafood and said it was amazing. So maybe order seafood?

Regas. I would like to start out by saying that I did not order a meal in this restaurant. A friend was in the downtown area and recommended we go for some drinks and appetizers. Since I had never been to Regas before, after living here for ten years, I was excited to give it a try. As soon as I walked in the door a horrible mildew/mold smell assaulted my nose. We were greeted immediately by a very polite waiter and given menus. My companion ordered a drink from the bar and I got water. While looking at the menu I could not help but notice the horrible condition of the carpeting in the restaurant. I decided that could be contributing to the smell problem. Considering the prices I was reading on the menu, it was difficult to understand why there was such an odor and dirty carpeting. My friend finished her drink and we decided not to order any food. I wasdisappointed to say the least. I moved here from California ten years ago and am always looking for quality food....willing to pay a premium price when necessary. The food may be outstanding at Regas, but I just could not get past the bad smell to try it.
