First let me apologize that your experience with our store was far from satisfactory. I am grateful this matter was brought to my attention as superior customer service depends on superior communication between a company and its customers.

Second, after speaking with my staff, I have determined the employee handling your transaction was too inexperienced to be showing merchandise from that case. They failed to read a tag correctly and quoted a piece significantly below my cost. I have ascertained they did not ask for assistance from another employee until the damage was done and the hand shake was made.

In all honesty I agree with you that the item should have been given to you for what it was quoted, and I have made this clear to my operating manager.

Lastly, we do offer a 10% discount off the total price for all customers who pay with cash (baring any other use of coupons or discounts). We offer this to compete with online jewelry companies. If this offer was presented to you in a way that led you to believe it was anything other than totally ethical, you have my sincerest apologies.

I would like to offer an invitation to you directly, to make an appointment to meet with either myself or my manager, and I will make this right. Please let us know within 30 days if this is acceptable to you or if there is any other way we can reach a mutually beneficial accommodation.

My husband purchased a bracelet for me this past Christmas. I liked it, but didn't love it, so I asked if we could go to Fountain City Jewelers to exchange it for something else. Not only were we quickly waited on and taken around the store to look at various rings, Mark Enix quickly approved an exchange no questions asked. I finally found an estate piece, a citrine ring, that was just beautiful. It required a good amount of resizing since it was very small. The jewelers did an excellent job of making the ring look like it had always been that size!

Mark and his staff are great at customer service in every way! We had a great experience at Fountain City Jewelers and will not only shop there in the future, but will also recommend them to anyone looking for jewelry or any of their many other services such as watch battery replacement, jewelry cleaning and engraving on any surface one can contrive.

For my birthday I was given a beautiful glass necklace piece with the tree of life. It its so beautiful... It is not my first piece or my last from fountain city jewlers.. Their prices are fair and I thought they had a wonderful selection of beautiful and unique items.. Definitely serviced with a smile :-)

Had a deal and a handshake.... STAY AWAY!!! They tried to bait and switch. I quickly agreed on a price, shook hands, and left to get cash. When I returned they must have thought I agreed too easily because they told me that they wanted an additional $300 dollars for the same item. They are crooks and probably cheating on their taxes (they "pay your taxes for you" if you pay cash instead of check or credit card, basically anything that leaves a paper trail). Don't trust them.

Very Satisfied!!. I had a wonderful experience at Fountain City Jewelers mainly because of Mark Enix's excellent customer service. I initially had Mark repair my wedding ring. He did a great job, but when I found out that the damage could occur again, I decided I wanted to replace the set. He went to a lot of trouble to help us pick out, design, and order what my husband and I really wanted. He was always available to communicate with me and put my mind at ease about my very special possessions. I plan to continue to use Ftn. City Jewelers because of the product and great customer service!

Good place for jewelry repairs. Took in some jewelry for repairs and got it done very fast and very reasonable. Then I took in my watch for a new battery & stem and was done when they said it would be..Very happy with their work.

They where there to help. Bought my fiancee's engagement ring their back in may. I didn't have much money but they worked with me and I was able to get a ring she loved.

Service lacking, waiting over 4 weeks for simple watch repair. Been waiting for over 4 weeks for them to replace a watch crystal, spoke to maufacture of watch company was advised it took 7 working days to ship new crystal.
