Since I was 5 years old, I have been going to Louis. I can remember when there were two, side by side, my family would go 4 or more times a month. Never once do I remember a bad experience. Though in
my teen years we moved to Atlanta, we always made a point to go to Louis when in town to visit friends and family. In fact, we order extra and keep it in a ice box, then have it for dinner when we get home from our trip. Now that I am married, my husband and I visit at least twice a year just for the amazing chicken parm! The spaghetti is amazing, there must be crackin the sauce, b/c I am truly addicted. The service has always been great for me, the waitresses are usually "good ol country gals" who will treat you like family (if you are are not rude and crazy acting). Growing up I had many crushes on the cute bus boys!!! The salads are perfect for me! Their blue cheese is awesome! (I am not a salad fan) but they are simple, but that to me is what makes them great. I have really not had anything but the chicken parm and spaghetti so I cant account for the rest of their menu.
I wish Louis would branch out! Atlanta needs a good italian resturant, Maggionos is good, but nothing beats good ol Louis.
I do have to say, there is one con, the smoking! I am not used to eating in the same room as someone who is smoking. but hey, that is why you can order it to go!!!…
Best spaghetti on the planet!!. My family and our friends have been going to Louis for over 13 years. We love the food there!! The spaghetti is great! I have known people who go there and pick apart the service and the salad and to those people I have always said....#1 You get treated the way you deserve to be treated and #2 People do not go there for the salad(eyeroll). If you want more on it, then ask for more. They have always done what we ask them to do. We have alot of good memories from there.
