Use to be my favorite restaraunt!. I have been eating at Bistro for 9 years for all of my special occasions. I ate at the new restaraunt on Papermill. The atmosphere was great. When I sat down is when the nightmare began. They have changed the whole menu. I always order Filet with horseradish blue cheese macaronii. Salad with grit croutons. The whole menu changed and they told me that the chef does not have horsradish and they only have sour cream. They took off the macronii for a cold potatoe salad. Who eats a filet with potatoe salad? I substituted pot sal for grits. So when I got my meal it was the worst meal I have ever had from a nice restaurant. When I expressed my dissatisfaction. The manager and the waiter just told me that this is the way it is now and then would hardly wait on me. I am so unhappy with our experiance that this is the first time I have ever written a review and I will never eat there again. I hope Chester the Chef does not run the Bistro in the ground. Let me know when the old Bistro comes back and customer service and quality are number one again.

Knoxville's BEST Restaurant. This truely is Knoxville's HIDDEN TREASURE ... absolutely delicious food, great bar, fantastic service all around. For an outstanding meal, this is where I would go anytime. The food is a bit pricey, but you will savor every bite. Small intimate restaurant ... a hundred times better than the Orangery or Ruth's Chris Steakhouse. It has a following of Knoxville's movers and shakers. The waiters are well-trained and knowledgeable, not only about the food, but about the various wines they also serve. I highly recommend Bistro By the Tracks as Knoxvile's BEST restaurant. BRAVO BISTRO!!

Excellent Dining - Consistently Spectacular. When I want to have a romantic dinner with my wife, I don't call the Orangery. I call Bistro. The food is consistently spectacular, from the grilled pork to the seared tuna to the weird egg roll. Service is friendly, and non-stuffy. Good wine list. I've never had a meal here that didn't exceed my expecations. I'm surprised that more folks don't rave about Bistro. It's a Knoxville treasure!
