This place is horrible. Stay away for your own sake. Sure Angel, and Wendy might seem nice, but nice people rip off poor people everyday. That's just they way the world works. I went there because I heard Dave Ramsey's ad, but it has been the worst experience I have had with a mechanic. Every time you go there expect a 100's of dollars for the job.

Even for simple jobs they overcharge. Before you go next time call these 3 mechanics and get a quote. 1 call TCoA (Trans Corp of America) then Call Firestone then call BAO's auto repair. BAO's not the cleanest and hes a little hard to understand, but he wont shaft you. Great prices Great work.

I couldn't let TCoA get a 94 on Citysearch when they deserve a 35. In good conscience I could not let another person have their car stolen by the smiling faces of Wendy and Angel. The cars they sell are legally stolen from customers who initially went in for transmission jobs. When they went back TCoA raised they price sometimes 3x the initial quote. Read the Google Reviews horror stories.

I was very pleased with the service I received while my truck was in the shop. It only took them a day and a half to rebuild the transmission. If you're like me, I thought that may be too fast to get it done right, but they proved me wrong. My truck runs great now! I appreciate how quickly and accurately they were able to get it repaired. I also found out they do other stuff besides transmissions. So I will go back to them the next time I need something done to my truck.

The customer service here was fantastic. Customer service is what drew me to this shop. My car was serviced and completed in the time that was quoted. Angel & Wendy are not only drawing customers , they also know about the vehicles. I will go back for my car to be serviced or repaired. They also checked my vehicle for other issues. I was satisfied and extremely pleased with the overall experience at TCOA. Will refer them to others. It is hard to find trustworthy and concerned mechanics and employess at a shop. They have it. Good Work

my honda transmission works properly now. After many attempts by another local repair shop to fix the problem with the transmission, I finally took it to the pros at Transmission Corporation. On the first try with Transmission Corporation my transmission works like new again. Nothing but Transmission Corporation of America from this point forward on both my cars. I promise to never stray away from them again!

I had taken my car to a local repair shop and also to Kia dealer in Knoxville and Kia dealer in Oak Ridge. None of the 3 shops could determine what my car needed to repair the problem of it not going in reverse in the morning when it was cold, among other problems. Transmission Corporation of America determined it was the transmission and performed the needed repairs and fixed the problem. I appreciate their prompt identification of the problem and recommendations and also their quick repair time. Furthermore, I liked the fact they requested I come back after driving a couple weeks to have a free maintenance check to ensure I would have no future problems. The customer service and technical assistance by Wendy and Angel were superb!

I want to tell everyone about this place. from what I saw, if it wasn't for Wendy and Angel, this company wouldn't be as great as it is. Those girls are great. They treated me so good.They keep the place looking good and smelling nice. The mechanics fixed up my Honda minivan in a jiffy and now I don't have to worry about my car breaking down anymore.

My most recent trip to their facility was for an overheating problem on my Taurus. This was the fourth time I have used this company. The office staff is both friendly and knowledgeable. The customer service here is second to none. They were thorough when explaining what was causing the problem and honest about what options I had to repair it. I went there the first time because I heard them advertised by Dave Ramsey on his radio show. I keep going back because they take great care of me and my car. Who wants to have to take a car in for repair?.....No One! But, if you must do it, this is the place. It's bad enough when your car breaks down and there are so many auto shops who have people working for them who don't care about you or don't even seem to have common courteousy anymore. This place is different .These people really get it! They know how to treat people. When I have to spend my hard earned money on something, I like to know the people who are getting it care about me and really give a hoot that it's stressfull for me to turn loose of money I had not entended to spend in the first place. Each and every time I have been here for service on my car, I was treated well and my car was fixed right. Their prices are fair too. In this day and age we have too many choices on where to take our cars. You should take it somewhere where the people know what they are doing as well as treat you right. That's why I like this place. Thanks!

I took my Honda to this shop for timing belt & water pump replacement. The engine had been making valve knocking noises and was due for timing belt & water pump service. The staff was great to listen to my issues and concerns and even to show me the old frayed timimg belt and rust inside the old water pump when I came back to pick up my car after the service was done. Now my car is running better than it has in years! I am so happy with it! And on top of it all, I got a phone call only 7 days later to make sure my experience with their company was good and my car was running well. I will use this company again.

We were very please with the service we recieved from Transmission Corporation. Also the help and kindness we were shown by all the employees we came in contact with was appreciated. They did a great job on our van and fixed it for a lot less than another shop said it would cost. The other shop said we needed a complete transmission replacement and Transmission Corporation replaced some electrical component (selanoids?) for $426.13 and had us back up and running the very next morning. If we ever need transmission service on any of our vehicles we will go back to transmission corporation for the work. WE are happy to report there are still honest mechanics out there and they are located at Transmission Corporation of America.

I was very satisfied with the service offered by Transmission Corporation of America. From the first call I made to them to pick up our Ford Escape thru the explenation of the problems they found with my car. They called with daily status updates while they were working on the vehicle. Their service was courteous & professional. The repairs were completed in a timely manner. They covered all the bases. When they called to let me know my car was ready, they even asked if I needed a ride to come down and pick it up. The repair was satisfactory. To date, the transmission in my Escape is working well. I am definitely a satisfied customer. I would not be reluctant to refer any of my friends or family members to this facility.
