HONEST AND HARD WORKING

I think Transmission Corporation of America is the best place that I have found so far for vehicle repairs and maintenance. For one, the bathrooms (and shop itself) are the cleanest I have ever seen. You can tell that the girls that run that place take pride in the shop and how it looks and how it is ran...and it smells nice. The customer service was impecable. Not only did they check out my vehicle, but while I was sitting their waiting on my brakes to get done, they offered to take several customers home so they wouldn't be stuck waiting and said they would come back to get them if they needed a ride back. Now thats AMAZING! The patience and understanding these ladys have is incredible. Its like they understand that ANY car problem is unexpected and they do what it takes to ease the situation for the customer as much as they can. I've been to a few shops for repairs but this shop is the one i decided to stick to because the people there are so nice and down to earth.

THE SHOP FOR WOMEN

I was completely satisfied with the work this company performed on my 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis. The girls up front were very friendly and helpful. I appreciate everything they did and am very happy with the service I received. This company is amazing in the aspect that it is ran by women(which I thought was neat), and also because of that, it is the most caring shop I have ever found. I especially encourage all women to go to this shop. They explain everything so a woman can understand what they are talking about. I loved the fact that this shop was also recommended by DAVE RAMSEY. VERY IMPRESSIVE. I will definitely go back to this shop.

LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!!

THIS IS THE FIRST AND ONLY REPAIR SHOP I HAVE SEEN THAT IS RAN BY WOMEN. AND YOU CAN TELL! THIS SHOP IS THE CLEANEST AND PRETTIEST SHOP I HAVE EVER SEEN. ITS LIKE YOU ARE SITTING IN A DOCTORS OFFICE. THESE WOMEN ARE SO NICE AND COURTEOUS TO ALL OF THEIR CUSTOMERS, FROM WHAT I SAW IN THE SHOP WHILE I WAS SITTING THERE. I HAD A SATURN IN THERE HAVING IT CHECKED OUT AND REPAIRED. I FIRST HEARD OF THIS SHOP ON THE RADIO BEING RECOMMENDED BY DAVE RAMSEY. SO I IMMEDIATELY THOUGHT OF THIS SHOP WHEN I STARTED HAVING PROBLEMS WITH MY SATURN. ANGEL WAS THE ONE THAT STARTED CHECKING MY CAR OUT FIRST AND WHAT WAS SO REFRESHING IS THAT SHE EXPLAINED EVERYTHING SHE WAS DOING TO ME. WHEN SHE FOUND A PROBLEM, SHE IMMEDIATELY TOLD ME WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS AND WHAT HAD CAUSED THE PROBLEM AND WHAT IT WOULD TAKE TO FIX THE PROBLEM. THERE WERE SEVERAL THINGS WRONG WITH MY CAR AND ANGEL GAVE ME A LIST OF THINGS THAT WE SHOULD ADDRESS AND TOLD ME WHICH ONES WERE VERY IMPORTANT AND WHICH ONES COULD WAIT. THAT WAS A SURPRISE THAT THEY DID NOT TELL ME I NEEDED TO DO ALL OF THE ITEMS AT ONCE. SOME PLACES WOULD HAVE. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO EVERYONE THAT HAS A PROBLEM WITH THEIR VEHICLE.

Bad Customer Service and Knowledge

I found this company online through google. I had my Dakota towed there one morning after talking to Angel over the phone. They took my transmission apart and ran diagnostics to determine what was wrong. When I came in to get the report, I noticed the report was for a transmission that is not on my particular Dakota. After pointing this out, Wendy told me the components were the same (torque converter, filters, transmission oil pump, ext.) and the numbers were pulled to match my transmission and even though the transmission listed was not mine, they were the same component-wise. They had listed to replace an external transmission filter also, but here is the thing... my transmission doesn't even have an external transmission filter. The quote was for around $3,400 for a rebuild. After pointing out that my vehicle did not even have an external filter, Angel went in the back to verify if I was right, which I knew I was. Angel then proceeded to tell me I was right, which took me talking to two people to be reassured. Angel then looked up my correct transmission (42rle, and not the 545rfe I was told was the same) and how much the repairs would cost. It totalled to almost $2,700. This is $700 less than what they were originally trying to charge me. Had they originally taken two minutes to verify I was right in the first place (instead of telling me the components were the same and cost would be the same for both transmisisons) it would have been fine, but she insisted parts were the same. If I had known nothing about my transmission, I would have overpaid $700 and part of this would have been for a part that my vehicle did not even have. I am taking my business elsewhere. I can't trust a company to rebuild something so major and give me a reasonable price after they ensured me that my transmission needed something that is non-existant.

can even do motorhomes

When we put our motorhome in the shop at Transmission Corporation of America, we happened to be on a trip. They got our motorhome in the shop fast to check it out. Wendy went above and beyond. She picked me up from my hotel and took me to the airport while they worked on our motorhome so we could continue our trip. I dont think I have ever seen a shop ran by women but I am very impressed. They are very courteous and kind and you can tell they actually want to make sure the repair goes as smooth for the customers as possible. I also liked that they are recommended by Dave Ramsey. That was a plus.
