Do NOT go to White Lace & Promises. All I can say is that this place does not have it together! They are rude and not organized at all! I can write so many bad things that has happened but it would be too long to write. Please do not go there!! Women's wedding day is supposed to be a wonderful experience they make it horrible!

Best Experience Ever!. I loved my my dress! I loved the all the girls in the shop! They treated me like a real person, and everything was beautiful and perfect. While I felt like a price tag in other shops, this one treated me like a real person. They took the time to get to know me and my needs. Even when I was difficult and asked a lot of the staff, they were always SO accommodating, and REALLY LISTENED to everything that I was saying. I cannot recommend them strongly enough! Don't rush take my word for it, though! Go in! Talk to other brides in the shop who have ordered! I know they'll completely back me up. That's how confident I am in this shop.

I LOVE THEM! You will too!

DO NOT buy here. I found my wedding dress here last year. It took MONTHS to get it in, even after my "rush order". My "rush" upcharge was not returned to me, even after the contract stated what "rush" meant.

Their contract is ridiculous and you WILL be paying for rush alterations regardless of when you place your order.

Oh, and did I mention they gave me the WRONG dress? I had to raise H*** to get them to move and find my dress. Took them a week. I know what my dress looked like.

They need to quit hiring high school teenagers and maybe get some people in that know what they're doing. They will rip you off at every opprotunity and please, ladies, I am still mad a year later.

Oh, and they also ordered my dress 5 INCHES too long. It was a lace dress so I couldn't alter the length--I had to buy platforms and hold my dress up as I walked down the isle.

Ridiculous. They were very unapologetic. They know you will most likely only need them once, and use this to their advantage. Find your dress elsewhere ladies, I'm warning you now!

Dress Not Here. 24 days to my wedding and my dress isn't here. My dress was ordered over five months ago!

Horrible Dress Experience!. It is a week and a half before the wedding and the dress is still not in. The order was placed MONTHS ago! There is no excuse except this bridal wants to make money for rushed alterations! NEVER use this bridal shop!!!

BUY your gown ELSEWHERE!. My daughter got married last fall and we purchased her "Reem Acra" gown and my gown at White Lace & Promises. I DO NOT recommend this shop under any circumstances. My daughters gown was ordered too small and too short. My daughter is 5' 10" . The sales person ( a young girl of 19) failed to recommend extra length for the skirt. The salesperson is supposed to be the expert! Fortunately the dress was able to be let out in the side seam and let down at the hem and in the end the dress fit but what if it didn't! What would they have done then???? The stress this created for my daughter was awful! Now , with my gown the alterations and fit were fine but when I picked the dress up, I didn't look at it. MISTAKE!!! When I got home (40 miles away) and did look at it , the dress didn't look like it was ever pressed and the whole hem was puckered. So back I go with the dress and they tell me that 's how the hem is supposed to look. And these people are the professionals!!!! I HAD TO TELL THEM HOW TO PRESS THE HEM!!! After spending $3,000 in this store, my recommendation is that you buy ELSEWHERE!
