Wonderful Restaurant!!!. Great, fabulous food. Relaxing atmosphere. Attentive waitstaff.

If you haven't been go!! If for nothing else the bread that they serve (I think I ate 2 baskets by myself). But everything else is worth going for, too!!

We had a problem with the food taking so long to come out that we were comped free desserts for the whole table, trust me EVERY dessert is fabulous!!

Thank you Altruda's for a wonderful experience, I will definitely be back soon.

Good atmosphere..lotsa sage in food. This was an up and down experience. The atmosphere was very nice, as was the service. We had never been, and 2 out of 4 of us tried specials reccommended by our server. The other two stuck with traditional baked ziti and lasagna. The specials were excellent, and we cleaned our plates. The lasagna and baked ziti had so much sage, they were not fininshed. After a bottle of wine, appetizers, and 4 entrees our bill was around $200 after tip, and I could have eaten more. Just watch what you order, and ask about the sage, but the rest of the experience was great, as was the wine he server recommended.

Great food. I think this is the best italian food in Knoxville. I've been to Altruda's numerous times and I always leave happy and full. They bring a bottomless salad before the meal that is very good. The lasagna is also excellent. One of my favorites.
