The salon industry in Knoxville is booming. Salon Azure is growing too. They have moved into a much larger new space alongside Kingston Pike. It is in the Homberg area and has convenient parking. The stylists are creative and seem happy to be working in their hip new digs. Aveda products are the focus here - I love Aveda. I recently walked in and received great service and a great haircut without a prior appointment. I enjoyed the music choices and the whole atmosphere of this new salon star.
The worst nail tech in Knoxville! by Deborah W. at InsiderPages

I won't use her name but she is an older big women who should NOT be cutting or manicuring nails. She cut my toe nails past the skin and made my toe bleed. I was horrified and asked for the manager! NO charge, but no offer to make it right. And do you wait 3 weeks for your nails to grow back?

I just went for a dramatic haircut at Belleza today. First time I've ever been there. Amber was wonderful. Very professional yet down to earth. I just found my honeypot of beauty. Very satisfied.
Cancelled on me

I went to Belleza and scheduled a bridal package for me and my bridesmaid to get our hair, make-up and nails done before the wedding. I did this several months before my wedding so I would be sure to have an appointment somewhere. Well my schedule began filling up, and I even planned events around the Belleza appointments. For example, I scheduled my bridal shoot the same day as my trial hair appointment, so I would have my hair done for my photos. Well Belleza called me a few months after I scheduled the appointment and informed me that a "nail training seminar" was scheduled for the week of my appointment, and they would have to cancel. Now my wedding is soon approaching, and I have no place for my make-up, nails and hair. That was very unprofessional of Belleza. For a spa to be so expensive, I expect them to keep my appointment and follow through. I do not recommend this spa AT ALL! Very unreliable...and when I went there to spend $400 on the bridal package, I stood there for 15 minutes before anyone even talked to me. Then I had to wait another 20 minutes just to be put on the calendar. Poor service!!!!
- Pros: Good location
- Cons: Expensive, Poor service, Unreliable
The gift certificate I received for this place was the best present ever!

My first experience was a full body massage and facial - one of the most relaxing massages I've ever had. They really put thought into the spa ambiance. Highly recommend this service - I actually had an epiphany on the massage table and decided to quit my job and change my life direction - it was that relaxing! then they do your make-up for free afterwards. Talk about feeling like a queen. If you want to treat someone special, give them a gift certificate to come here.
Salon - I'm always wary about spending lots of money on a haircut, but I've never gotten so many compliments on a cut. Three months later, and it still looks good! I didn't spring for a senior stylist - I was pleased with the quality of the cut and will definitely go back. Again, they did my make-up afterwards, which is such a nice touch. They also carry Bare Escentuals, so I don't have to order those online anymore.
- Pros: I love how I felt when I left
- Cons: the cost, but you get what you pay for

Horrible experience! Nice facial and pleasant personnel. However, the music piped into the small room was so loud and obtrusive I left the spa with a headache.(The music could not be turned off!) I will not go there again!

I have been going to Belleza for about 4 years now! I really like the stylists and I love the products. I recommend Ronnie or Stephanie.
- Pros: I like the atmosphere and it seems very professional.
- Cons: It is a little expensive, but it's worth it.

I'm new to the area, and went there for the 1st time 2 wks before my wedding, for highlights and a cut. I was nervous about going to a new salon that close to my wedding, but they did an excellent job! I was impressed with the fact that they stand behind their work, and said that if I was dissatisfied, to let them know within 2 weeks and they'd correct it. Everyone there was very friendly. I did think it was a little on the pricey side (but comparable for this type of salon), but to be fair, it cost me more because I had some corrective color issues, and I also paid more for a "senior" stylist, but I wanted someone with the extra experience, and I think it was well worth it.
- Pros: Friendly, Professional

Wonderful spa! Two sides, the salon and the spa. Both excellent. Colorists on the Salon side are very knowledgable and will not steer you wrong! They will often fix you up! from the last place you went to that tried the new technique on you!
Spa is one of the best in the city! Full services of body, facial, etc.
PROS: Very personable staff, very knowledgable.
CONS: Are a bit pushy trying to get you to buy their products.
